Advertising Vendor Auto-Detection, IAB TCF Banner Setting Updates, Teammate Installation Sharing, and Looker Studio Integration

We’re introducing several new improvements to make CookieScript more flexible, collaborative, and data-friendly. 🚀

You can now enable Advertising Vendor auto-detection directly in your banner settings.

To turn it on, go to:

Banner Settings → Frameworks → “Auto-detect advertising vendors”

This feature helps simplify banner configuration by automatically identifying advertising vendors, making it easier to manage vendor-related consent settings within your setup.

When the IAB TCF framework is enabled, some banner settings will now be automatically overridden to align with IAB TCF standards.

This helps ensure that banners using the framework stay consistent with its requirements and expected configuration rules.

You can now send banner installation instructions directly to a teammate from within CookieScript.

To use this feature, first create a banner, then go to:

Banner Settings → Install → “Send instructions to team member”

Enter the email address and click Send — that’s it.

This makes it easier to collaborate with developers, colleagues, or clients during banner setup and implementation.

CookieScript now supports a new integration with Looker Studio, allowing you to connect your CookieScript banner analytics for more detailed reporting and visualization.

With this integration, you can track metrics such as:

Cookie banner accept/reject rates

Banner interaction data, including button clicks and usage

Cookie category insights, including the frequency of selected cookie categories

The integration is available through the CookieScript API, which is accessible on the Plus plan.

We’ve also introduced additional improvements across CookieScript to support a smoother and more refined user experience. These updates are aimed at making day-to-day banner management more efficient and easier to navigate.
